Before You Nominate

Eligibility & Process

Open to All India-Linked Organisations
Nominees must operate in India or have direct, material operations impacting India's aviation SAF ecosystem. International organisations with India-focused programmes are eligible.

Self-Nominations Permitted
Organisations and individuals may nominate themselves. Third-party nominations are also welcome and encouraged. Nominators should disclose any conflict of interest.

Assessment Period: 1 July 2025 – 30 June 2026
All evidence submitted must relate to activities, achievements or publications within this 12-month window, with the exception of the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Independent Jury Panel
A jury of 7 independent experts — drawn from ICAO, airlines, investors, academia and civil society — reviews all nominations. SAFA staff and jury members are not eligible for nomination.
5
Evidence-Based Submissions
Nominations should include quantitative evidence where possible — volumes, investment figures, policy milestones, publication counts. Unsupported claims will not be considered.
